The international rating agency The Legal 500 recently published its results for 2026. Réttur was recognised for its work in five categories: Dispute Resolution, Restructuring & Insolvency, TMT & IP, Commercial, Corporate and M&A, and EEA & Competition.
Four of the firm’s attorneys also received individual recognition. Sigurður Örn Hilmarsson, partner, was inducted into the “Hall of Fame” in Dispute Resolution, and named “Leading Partner” in Commercial, Corporate and M&A, Restructuring & Insolvency, and TMT & IP. Stefán Örn Stefánsson, partner, received two “Next Generation Partner” recognitions, in Commercial, Corporate and M&A, and in Restructuring & Insolvency.
In addition, Alexander Hafþórsson, senior associate, received three “Leading Associate” recognitions in Dispute Resolution, Commercial, Corporate and M&A, and TMT & IP. Linda Íris Emilsdóttir, senior associate, was likewise named “Leading Associate” in Dispute Resolution.
